Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary picnic 2017
It was a gorgeous day for the annual BCCC picnic at Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary.  We had ten British cars.  Jennifer Middleton gave a wonder talk on the facility.  We split into a couple groups and had a tour of the place.  We then had lunch.

Here is the field in front of the cabin where we parked, mostly under shade.  The cabin was originally built in the late 1700's in western Virginia.  The owner of the facility bought the cabin then later had it erected here.  I was air conditioned giving us a respite from the heat.
There is a pond at the facility and the dogs love chasing tennis ball into the water.
After the tour, we sat under the shade of the Live Oaks.
It's hard to appreciate this place from pictures.  If you didn't make it today, plan to make a visit sometime.  Each dog has a very large area to run with their own house.  They are even heated in the winters.
