My first collector car
My first collector car
My very first collector car was a '52 XK-120 Fixed Head Coupe (FHC). I bought it in 1970 in Scranton, PA, for $650. I'll let the photos do the talking. I towed it home, got it running and new brakes. I think the car was painted blue with a roller. I upholstered the whole interior, straightened out the body and painted it, again with lacquer. I drove the car for about 5 years until I got the XK-120 roadster.
